ABOUT DR. WULF
Dr. Kelly Wulf has an extensive background in Special Education, having graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Western Illinois in 1989 and earning her master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Charleston in 1996. In December of 2008, Dr. Wulf received a Specialist in Education in Superintendency from The Citadel and later earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2015.
Dr. Wulf is known for her take-action attitude and goal-focused approaches. She is constantly learning and growing in ways of forward-thinking to provide better personalized learning for all students. Dr. Wulf is passionate about creating and implementing change in the 21st century learning to touch students’ lives while preparing them for their future. Dr. Wulf is a game-changer in the education field through her persistence and dedication in moving education forward in the pursuit of next-level excellence.
Dr. Wulf’s teaching history includes being an instructor at Manual High School in Peoria School District #150 and Berkeley County School District’s Macedonia Middle School and Stratford High School. Last position held was Berkeley County School District’s Chief Academic and Innovation Officer as well as held multiple positions within the district as:

- Coordinator for Programs for Students with Disabilities
- Instructional Specialist for Programs for Students with Disabilities

Consulting and Advocacy
As a consulting and advocate for children and education, Dr. Wulf knows how the educational system operates and what is possible for today’s students. She educates parents and school personnel on the impact of various conditions and active discussion on student learning capacity related to educational programs and services for an effective educational process. Dr. Wulf works on the “whole child approach” with parents and school staff by devising comprehensive evaluation addressing academic, social, emotional, and transitional needs. Additionally, Dr. Wulf helps parents and educators understand different perspectives and how to reach a mutual agreement.
