How We Help

Our Services

WBC Education Solution provides professional and highly experienced advocacy services, designed to empower families navigating the complex Special Educational System.

It’s not uncommon for school staff to be unfamiliar with what services and supports are available for students with disabilities, employ a “one-size-fits-all approach”, or fail to listen and address the concerns of the family. Parents should be active and informed members of any group that makes educational decisions for their child. WBC Education Solution will help you be an empowered and an informed parent through an interactive process of advocacy, consulting, and direct coaching.

Our Advocacy Services are designed to take over the heavy lifting, stop the confusion and frustration, and provide your family with the much-needed support you need and deserve.

Not only are we well-versed in Special Education & Disability Law, we also have decades of experience in The Public School System including roles as Chief Academic Officer, Special Education Director and teacher, and strong affiliation with various Special Education-related Organizations.

Our Direct Advocacy Service begins with taking time to understand your childs needs and address current concerns and roadblocks.  We work collaboratively with your family and remain by your side throughout the entire process.

When working with WBC Education Solution, our parents experience a huge sense of relief because they have a professional on their side of the table, who is soley focused on your family and ensuring your child has the proper accommodations and/or modifications in place.

IEP Document Review

An important step of effective advocacy is a full review and analysis of the IEP and/or 504 Evaluations, FBA/BIP, and other related educational documents.

We know these documents can be overwhelming, confusing and may contain launguage and the citation of laws you may not be familiar with.  These are legal documents and are binding at sign-off (sometimes without parental concent).  Having an expert review and notate these documents can sometimes be the difference between success and failure your your child.

Upon completion of Records Review and Analysis, we will provide recommendations to guide next steps for the parent and school teams to consider ensuring the child is receiving a free appropriate public education (FAPE).

Should you feel you still need additional help, our Direct Advocacy and/or Parent Coaching Services are always availble.

Parent Advocacy

Upon completion of IEP Review and Analysis, parents may want to seek indirect advocacy services to assist in developing their advocacy skills. The strategic coaching sessions are designed to develop a roadmap based on the individualized recommendations and coach parents on how to obtain those results. The goal is to equip parents to become the ultimate advocate.
