Meet The Advocate: Dr. Kelly Wulf

Do I Need An Advocate?
Feeling overwhelmed in school meetings where everyone is throwing around acronyms you don’t understand? Are you afraid to ask because you don’t want to be judged? You’re not alone. Even though the law says you’re a key part of the IEP/504 process, it can often feel like your concerns are brushed aside by the school team, the so-called “education experts.” If you’ve walked away from meetings feeling frustrated like you’re “that parent,” but still know something isn’t right, it’s time for an Advocate.
Dr. Wulf started WBC because she saw firsthand how parents’ voices were being ignored, even though all they want is open communication, transparency, and support. Our mission is to give you the knowledge and confidence to advocate for the best services for your child—because no one knows your child better than you do.
Additionally, WBC can help uncover missed services, supports, or underlying learning challenges that may affect your child’s progress. If you’re feeling lost in the system, believe your child’s needs aren’t being met, or need help resolving an educational issue, WBC Education Solution is here to get the results you and your child deserve.

What Our Clients Are Saying
If You Are Experiencing…
Overwhelm & Confusion
The Special Education process is filled with lots of acronyms, laws, policies, and paperwork. It IS confusing and overwhelming. It’s more than most parents can handle.
Push Back from The School/District
Unfortunately, it is common to hear a lot of “No”‘ and “We Don’t Do That”. You may be denied access to certain evaluations and services. There are laws protecting you and your child. The schools don’t always follow the law and many parents don’t know their rights. This needs to stop.
Lack Of Support
It’s common to feel alone when you have a child who needs services. The Special Education process can be lonely and isolating. We are here to support you.
Lack Of Transparency
Tired of not getting the information you need? Do you feel like the school or district is not including you in the decision-making process? The school is required to include you in this process. Let us step in and help.
FAQ’s
Are you affiliated with a school district?
WBC Education Solution is not affilated with any school, public or private. We are a private, 3rd party service-provider.
What is a 504?
Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 guarantees certain rights to people with disabilities, including the rights of students attending elementary and secondary education to receive accommodations that will ensure their academic success and access to the learning environment.
What is an IEP?
An Individualized Education Program (IEP) is a legal document that is developed for each child receiving special education within the public school system and includes the accommodations and specialized instructions the child will receive.
An IEP also includes present levels of academic achievement, annual goals, a list of special education services for the student, the frequency of reporting progress to parents,
state and district assessments, appropriate extracurricular activities, and a description of the instructional setting and lengths of the student’s school day.
I don't live in South Carolina, can you still help?
While each state has some differences in the way the laws are implemented, IDEA is a federal law and as such is applicable in every state. We are happy to attend virtual meetings should you not live within driving distance. Within the local area, meetings can be conducted virtually or in person.
Can a Special Education Advocate attend my IEP or 504 meeting?
Yes, parents may bring other individuals who have knowledge or special expertise regarding the child. As your Advocate, we will attend any meeting related to your child’s educational needs with your consent. This is often where we make the biggest impact.
